Chest Pain​

Myocardial Infarction and Acute Coronary Symdromes (Link NICE Guideance)

 

 

Advanced Assessment & Management

Thrombolysis

Prolonged Casualty Care

  • Maintain continuous monitoring
    • 3 lead ECG
    • Sats
    • NIBP
  • Serial (6 hourly) 12 lead ECGs for first 48 hours AND/OR any chest pain or shortness of breath
  • Reach back to DCA Medicine (or deputy) via TELEMEDICINE
  • Saf edit for illustrative purposes only

Paediatric Considerations

As per adult guidelines
Consider undiagnosed congenital abnormalities
